Getting started with Organic Vegetable Pest Control - Webinar

Growers, consultants and agribusiness professionals are invited to attend a two-hour online program addressing the basics of organic vegetable pest control. Participants will learn how to identify the major pests in organic vegetable productions systems, become familiar with the principles of integrated pest management and build a basic capacity for managing key pests without synthetic pesticides. This live webinar program can be viewed independently online for a fee of $10. Two MDARD Pesticide Recertification Credits will be available for application to one of the following categories:  Private Core, Commercial Core, or Vegetable Crops.

This webinar program is part of the ongoing "2014 Beginning Farmer Webinar Series." Questions and discussion will take place through the webinar 'chat' function. Supporting written materials will be available for download during and after the webinar. Participants will receive the webinar URL after their registration and payment is processed. A recording of the webinar will be made available to registered participants.
