Willow is a Short Rotation Woody Crop (SRWC),being developed as
a sustainable source of biomass for the production of bioenergy, biofuels and bioproducts. SRWC are fast-growing, hardwood species with the
ability to regrow after each harvest (coppice).
is the most comprehensive and up-to-date financial analysis tool for shrub willow biomass crops. It is a program which runs on Microsoft Excel, allows the user to vary input variables and to calculate cash flow and profits throughout the entire production chain from site preparation and crop establishment to the delivery of wood chips to an end user.
This webinar will explain and demonstrate some of the new features of
EcoWillow 2.0 in more detail, provide a brief tutorial, model several
example crop production scenarios showing the impact of key variables on
production costs and profitability, and answer questions about the
model and its use.
The NEWBio Webinar Series
