Contexts of IPV Following a Family Transition Webinar

Do you provide education or services to families who have experienced a family transition like divorce or separation? Do you need more information to understand the role that Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) can play in families’ transition journeys? If so, then the Contexts of IPV Following a Family Transition Webinar is for you!

Emily Becher, University of Minnesota Extension Research Fellow, and Brandon Jones, Mental Health Practitioner, will provide an overview about IPV in transitioning families in this short webinar. In this webinar, you will:

  • Outline current research related to co-parenting and IPV
  • Identify best practices for integrating IPV assessments in parenting plan evaluations
  • Examine theoretical models for evaluating risk and protective factors
  • Discuss the implications of experienced violence across systems
