Presented by: Jennifer Chilek, eLearning Specialist, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service
We all carry around a videocamera. It's packaged with a small computer, a calculator, a camera, a flashlight, and a bunch of useful and not-so-useful apps, and - oh yes- also it contains a phone. It's easy to use that video capture device, aka cell phone, to capture and share videos for Extension work as well as for personal networking and family fun.
In this session we'll talk about why video is such a good way to provide outreach education, discuss video and photo-taking practices to get the best result with little to no editing, explore legal options for music and image additions, address captioning and its importance in Extension educational video, and finally, walk through the process of posting to YouTube and sharing with the audience that you specify.

This professional development opportunity is offered by the National Association of Extension Program and Staff Development Professionals (NAEPSDP). Learn more at www.naepsdp.org. In addition to these monthly webinars open to all Extension professionals, NAEPSDP holds an annual professional development conference, that includes their annual meeting, as well as bimonthly Member Connect webinars. NAEPSDP Member Connect sessions are opportunities for our active members to openly discuss relevant topics of interest with their peers. These sessions are typically held on the second Thursday of every other month (April, June, August, October, & December).
