Our January webinar, entitled, The Power of the Web: Free Internet Legal Research, focuses on getting the most out of free legal materials on the internet. The webinar presenter is Ms. Kirstin Nelson, J.D. Ms. Nelson is a Law Librarian at the National Agricultural Library in Beltsville, Maryland. Kirstin received a B.S in Social Sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Master of Library Science at the University of Missouri-Columbia and J.D. at University of Baltimore. In addition to her work at the library, she teaches Advanced Legal Research at University of Maryland School of Law. Ms. Nelson previously worked at University of Maryland Law Library and as a Research Librarian at several national law firms, including DLA Piper, Steptoe & Johnson, and Blank Rome.
