is an Insurance Specialist on the VA Insurance Service Program Administration and Oversight Staff. She began her career with the VA Insurance Program in 1990 after earning her Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Temple University. She started her career as a Veterans Claims Examiner in the Insurance Claims Division. In 1995, she transitioned to the Program Administration and Oversight Staff, which is responsible for oversight of the SGLI program. Over the years, Ruth has been actively involved with the implementation of numerous program changes and enhancements, including the Family Servicemembers’ Group Life Insurance Program and the Servicemembers’ Group Life Insurance Traumatic Injury Protection Program.
