USDA Northeast Climate Hub and Listserv Pilot: The USDA Northeast Climate Hub works with partners to deliver science-based information to support farmers and land managers with decision-making and adaptation related to climate change. We are proposing to pilot a climate adaptation listserv as a method to promote communication among Extension professionals.

Erin Lane is Coordinator for the USDA Northeast Climate Hub. Her work is centered on leadership, partnerships and project management. Erin started with the US Forest Service as a firefighter in 1997; she is now with Northern Research Station in Durham, NH.

Climate Literacy Certification for Extension Professional: The Climate Learning Network recently launched a new website with climate education resources for Extension. This will soon expand with the introduction of a Climate Literacy Certification program for Extension Professionals.

Daniel Geller is an Extension Associate with Southeast Regional Extension Forestry. He is an Agricultural Engineer with a long history in biofuel/energy research, development and deployment. Daniel works for the University of Georgia College of AgTAP program providing technical assistance to producers and landowners. He is the coordinator of the eXtension Climate Learning Network (CLN) and seeks to connect the Regional Climate Hubs with Land Grant Universities and provide Climate Literacy Training to Extension Professionals.
