Dr. Nina Jablonski has spent two decades exploring the evolution of human skin and skin color. Her curiosity has carried her from the natural history of skin to an exploration of its implications for human health. More recently she has been drawn to reflect on the societal implications of skin color. She is the author of the books, Skin: A Natural History (2006), and Living Color: The Biological and Social Meaning of Skin Color (2012).
