If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to convert your Extension publications into eBooks, this is the session for you! Over the past year, New Mexico State University has produced over 70 eBooks based on existing Extension publications, and we’re pleased to share all we’ve learned about the process. Ana Henke, Publications Supervisor, will show you how to build eBooks in this step-by-step session. The software that will be used is Adobe InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop, as well as Calibre, a free eBook conversion software. We recommend that those interested in participating in this workshop familiarize themselves with the Adobe software listed. These online software training websites are good resources: http://www.lynda.com/home/freeTraining.aspx and http://tv.adobe.com/. We look forward to working with you!
