This 60-minute webinar is part 1 of a 2-part series focusing on inclusive practices in working with LGBT youth and families. Part 1 will provide an introductory-type course focused on the language, terms, and background pertaining to the LGBT community, offering insight and guidance in working with this population. Presenter Information

Jenifer McGuire, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Family Social Science at the University of Minnesota. She studies the well-being of young people who identify as transgender with a specific focus on ways that family environments can best support healthy development.
