About this Podcast
As a response to Dr. Jill Biden's address at the 2016 AERA annual meeting to study and serve military families, this Valdosta State University Professor was inspired to start a research initiative looking at dependents in military families who are currently attending college. This 60-minute podcast looks at the research and its implications.

1.0 CEU for this podcast is available through the University of Texas School of Social Work. These educational hours may be submitted by professionals to meet continuing education requirements for renewal of Social Work, Professional Counselor, and Family Therapist licenses. Guest Bio
Dr. Meagan Arrastia-Chisolm is an Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology at Valdosta State University in the Psychology, Counseling, and Family Therapy Department. Her research interests include self-regulation, teacher beliefs, literacy instruction, and dependents in military families attending college.
