4-H BioBand Fitness Tracker - 2017 Innovation Grant Update

This project seeks to transform youth from mere users of bio-wearable technology to “Data Scientists,” capable of examining data sets, connecting to people with shared experiences, and making decisions based on the data collected. The project features a first-of-its-kind 4-H BioBand Fitness Tracker kit with Arduino microcontroller connecting heart rate, physical activity and temperature with capabilities of operating within the structure of the internet. Learn about our journey to demystify technology and personal fitness by connecting Maker Education and Data Science with Wearable Technology.
