"Protective Factors in Extension: Social and Emotional Competencies" features Lori Zierl, a University of Wisconsin - Extension county-based educator and professor, and Rob Nix, a University of Wisconsin - Extension specialist and University of Wisconsin - Madison professor. They will discuss the links between children's social and emotional competence and their well-being and school success. They’ll also share several examples from Extension and other sources that help parents and other adults in promoting children's social and emotional competence.
