Making Sense of Treatment Technology Options for Livestock Farms

Have you ever wondered whether manure should be treated on your livestock operation? What technology will work best in your situation? This webinar will provide an overview of primary treatment technologies for animal manure and their capabilities/limitations/costs. Presenters will talk about strategies for selecting the right technology to meet your farm’s needs. We will review some proven and emerging technologies that are showing promise for the dairy industry. Additionally, Mark will introduce the services provided by Newtrient such as their Newtrient Technology Catalog, a product designed to guide dairy farmers relative to technologies that best meet their farm's unique needs for manure and nutrient management.

An application for continuing education credit for Certified Crop Advisors (CCAs) and members of the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists (ARPAS) will be submitted.
