Horses are very social animals, and much like humans, horses spend time playing and interacting with each other, especially at a young age.
In this presentation, Dr. Jenifer Nadeau, Associate Professor and Equine Extension Specialist for the University of Connecticut, will talk more about why horses of different age groups "horse around". She will also present information on the horse's social behavior and how they play and interact within their herd.
This presentation is free and provided as a partnership between eXtension Horses and My Horse University. The presentation will be archived, along with previous presentations, at http://www.myhorseuniversity.com/resources/webcasts.
