This presentation addressed the importance of timing when applying fire ant baits. Applying fire ant baits in the fall is an effective way to minimize fire ant problems in home lawns and other landscapes. Research-based, cost effective products, and how to get the most out of the fire ant product were discussed. Community-wide fire ant management programs were also discussed.
