Companion Animal Webinar

Learn about what a veterinarian looks for to determine if a dog is healthy. Also to be covered will be disease prevention and health testing and screening for inherited diseases.

Our speakers include Karen Potter DVM and Elizabeth Wells PhD. Karen Potter is a graduate of Michigan State University College of veterinary medicine and works in a mixed practice in Lincoln Michigan. She breeds, shows and trains a variety of sporting dogs and has been an active participant in 4-H programs over the past 15 years. Elizabeth has a PhD from Michigan State University and retired after 26 years of service with MSU Extension. She now owns a private dog training business and is active in breeding, showing and training Samoyeds and Pomeranians. She gave leadership to the MSU 4-H Companion Animal program in Michigan for many years.
