Miscanthus - a high yielding Energy Crop

Latest in the series of NEWBio webinars.
Speaker: Scott Coye-Huhn with Aloterra Energy.
Giant Miscanthus is one of the highest yielding energy crops available for use on marginal lands. However, it is not well known in North America, and concerns are sometimes raised as to its suitability for our climate, economy, and ecosystem.

Aloterra is a vertically integrated biomass company with over 18,000 acres of Miscanthus planted to date.
