About the webinar:
"2010 North Central Regional Center for Rural Development Speakers Series" focuses on ways that Extension systems can engage and collaborate better using new organizational systems and tools. To help achieve this goal we will sponsor a series of web-based sessions on topics related to working differently.
Extension systems throughout the U.S. are undergoing change processes. This session explores what we have learned from brain research and related fields about change and organizational leadership. We’ll learn how change affects us and strategies for better teaching, leading, personal development and of course, change.
About the speaker: Jerry Thomas is the North Central Regional Center for Rural Development Fellow for 2010 and an Associate Professor at Ohio State University. He has been an Extension Educator, specialist, and administrator. He also holds an appointment with the National eXtension initiative.
